CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Inspector II to join our Water/Wastewater Team at a client site located in the Vero Beach, FL area.

YOUR IMPACT

Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects. We offer full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.

 

The Inspector II is responsible for observing and documenting the construction of airports, highways and streets, sewer and water systems, dams, bridges, building and building systems (HVACR, electrical, plumbing, security, and communication systems), and other structures and facilities. This individual will prepare reports outlining the work performed, review and verify contractor documentation, coordinate construction activities with the client, and assist the Project Manager with client related construction issues when necessary.

REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Services or related technical field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of construction or construction observation experience requiredExperience with septic to sewer or septic to vacuum sewage experience desiredNICET Level II certification preferredValid Driver’s License requiredAble to comprehend construction documentsUnderstands and follows company standards, demonstrates knowledge of construction techniques, and assists mid to senior level team members with complex projectsProficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookStrong mathematical skillsGood oral and written communication skillsStrong ability to work independently and in a team environmentExtensive travel may be required SALARY RANGE:

$55,000 - $72,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
