As an Inspector-Level 4, you will provide Quality Control Inspection support for Honeywell Aerospace's Auxiliary Power Units, Propulsion Engine and Turbo fan product lines before they are sent out to customers. You will partner with manufacturing teams and leaders to update inspection processes and insure their consistent execution to deliver products that meet customer expectations and comply with all FAA/ODA requirements. You will ensure that quality is being maintained in all factors involved in production.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nPerform final inspections on commercial/military hardware.\nIssue and/or familiar with 8130’s and Certificate of Confomance\nMonitor and verify quality.\nRecommend improvements.\nConform to specifications.\nRecord observations.\nAudit quality control programs.\nDevelop specs and procedures.\nImprove quality practices.\nMentor lower-level Inspectors on best practices and root cause analysis\n\n

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-attuned positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-attuned positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

\n\nU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nAt least 3 years of Quality Control and/or Inspection experience in aerospace or an industry of similar complexity\nAbility to use power tools and highly competent with measurement devices commonly used in inspector, ie calibers, gauges, and related equipment\nAbility to pursue and maintain FDA/ODA Inspection certifications\n\n
