**A Snapshot of Your Day** **The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of duties in the Non-Destructive Examination Department with minimal supervision. Assist operators in processes such as airflow testing, moment weigh and balance operation, NDE component preparation, part loading, unloading, routing, marking operations, and verification inspections in order to ensure customer requirements. In skill level III, the primary purpose is to accomplish NDE inspection (ex.: visual and dimensional) on products, record and document operational and inspection results, and verify compliance with all Integrated Management Systems and customer requirements.** **How You’ll Make an Impact** **The following are the major job duties, but this job description does not preclude the performance of other duties by the incumbent. The person in this role will perform a variety of duties in the Non-Destructive Examination Department** + **Assist in loading components onto fixtures for processing and transport components to various workstations within the department and facility.** + **Loading, unloading, and routing components prior to inspection, repair or coating.** + **Operate Airflow and/or moment weigh equipment.** + **Assist in performing preventative maintenance of department equipment including maintaining records and logs and perform minor adjustments and repairs to various department equipment, tools, and machines.** + **Retrieve and return tools and fixtures that are used for processing components.** + **Enter computer data in Microsoft Excel and Word used to verify specifications and assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.** **What You Bring** + **Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word.** + **High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.** + **Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.** **Competency Expectations:** **Demonstrate competency within six (6) weeks:** + **Assist in loading components onto fixtures for processing/inspection.** + **Transport components to various workstations within the department.** + **Able to perform basic Level I functions such as prepping parts for NDE/Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection.** + **Must provide proficiency in measuring parts for dimensional tolerance using fixtures and measuring tools** + **Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
