THE ROLE

The Inspector/Quality Assurance role is responsible for ensuring the customer end product meets Company and customer standards and specifications in a fast-paced silkscreen operation.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The quality control and production facilitator plays a vital role in the ongoing production functions of the Company.  Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.  The essential duties and responsibilities of the position include:

Monitoring print quality Counting and sorting garments Verifying accuracy to customer specifications Tagging and boxing Completing work orders Assisting press operators as needed Maintains a clean organized work area Functions well as part of a team with the entire production department

 Other Duties

The quality control and production facilitator has additional ongoing functional responsibilities, including:

Assists in the development and/or institutes new procedures to improve accuracy and quality of products

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Based on the essential and other duties and responsibilities of the position, the quality control and production facilitator should have a number of professional skills and abilities:

Accuracy and strong attention to detail is required Ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities, meet assigned deadlines, and manage the related stress Sound organizational, records management, time management skills

 

COMPENSATION

Hourly rate of $17.00-$19.00

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear; use hands and fingers, and handle controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to stand, walk, and stoop.
