You will operate specialized rewinder equipment, document production data, and ensure quality control standards are met. This role is vital to maintaining smooth production processes and ensuring defect-free products. Responsibilities:Rewind rolls containing defects, remove all defects, and make proper splicesTransport and deliver inspected rolls to appropriate storage areasEnter data into Unity Business Software and maintain accurate production recordsProcess specialty and R&D items that require rewindingAssist in other areas when not operating the rewinder machineMonitor production conditions to ensure quality standards are metMark finished rolls for identification per work instructionsMaintain a clean and organized work area while following safety protocolsRecommend process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and safetyPerform machine adjustments and inspections to ensure optimal production output Qualifications and Requirements:Experience operating tow motors/forkliftsAbility to follow detailed instructions and safety protocolsBasic computer skills for data entry (training available)Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defectsAbility to measure products using a tape measureExperience using overhead hoists to load/unload rolls is a plusPhysical Demands:Ability to lift, bend, and stoop as neededCapable of lifting and positioning 50 – 100 lbsAbility to stand for extended periods in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment Benefits and Perks:Competitive PayMedical, Dental, and Vision BenefitsPaid HolidaysTraining & Career Growth Opportunities Your New Organization:Join a leading manufacturing company dedicated to producing high-quality products.
