We specialize in engineering, fabrication, and installation of custom cabinets and architectural millwork for the commercial market. This position is crucial as it manages cabinet installation and carpentry crews across the local area, focusing on the installation of cabinetry, trim, and crown molding. The role requires a hands-on approach to leadership, ensuring that all installations meet the company's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
ResponsibilitiesManage cabinet installation and carpentry crews across the local area.Create daily job installation schedules and conduct job-site installation reviews.Schedule daily work for Field Service Technicians and sub-contractors, assigning jobs as necessary.Monitor the completion of the daily schedule and create Variance Reports to track completed jobs and rework.Inspect all cabinet installations for quality and compliance with safety standards.Provide technical expertise on safe installation methods and techniques to direct reports.Communicate with customers and their clientele to resolve problems as needed.Hire, train, develop, and evaluate staff, taking corrective action as necessary.Essential SkillsMillworkConstruction ManagementCabinetry InstallationProject ManagementCommercial ConstructionSupervisionCost ControlBudgetingCompliance with federal, state, and local regulationsAdditional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of project management techniquesAbility to negotiate effectively with subcontractors and suppliersExperience in cost control and budget managementFamiliarity with construction management processesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsWork Environment
This individual will be based out of the Charlotte Market. The team includes a Sales and Bid Estimator with over 30 years of experience that the Install Manager will partner with. The work environment spans Medical and Dental Facilities, Professional Office Spaces (e.g. Legal, Architectural, Financial), Reception Areas, Amenity Areas, Restaurants and Breweries, Salons, Trade Show Displays, Manufacturing/Warehouse Facilities, and Schools and Universities.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
