Installation Engineer

Overview
The project goal is to replace / repair a section of the existing 20” CS export pipeline with a new 20” CRA cladded / CWC pipeline.
The job holder is accountable for the activities related to installation engineering and installation of the 20inch pipeline on an offshore field.
The job holder main tasks are: • Responsible for proving exemplary behaviour regarding H3SE rules & requirements and for implementing H3SE rules within his area of responsibility, • Control and coordinate deliverables installation engineering and work procedures including technical studies performed by the EPCI and its Sub-Contractors, • Ensure engineering deliverables are timely reviewed and fit for purpose and if needed coordinate technical clarification meeting(s) for resolution of comments/conflicts, • Coordinate engineering interfaces are dealt with and liaise with other concerned entities from Head Quarters and . Participate in engineering constructability reviews and risk assessment studies; and be accountable for follow-up closure of actions, • Ensure MWS comments are adequately implemented by EPCI Contractor • Verify the Subsea Connector qualification status (if applicable) and verify engineering, procurement, fabrication and FAT / SIT aligns with the project technical requirements, • Accountable for coordination with the EPCI Lead Engineer of the pipelay and diving package works readiness review, • Supervise Company Provided Items loadout (Europe or Qatar) and handover to the EPCI contractor, • Attend rigid spools fabrication yard, needed, and witness SIT prior to loadout, • Coordinate visits to Company facilities with EPCI for pre-engineering surveys and area familiarization, • Attend the EPCI marine spread during the works execution to ensure Technical Requirements are met and H3SE policies are adhere to.
Requirements
Based in Qatar with Frequent missions worldwide to be forecasted (line pipe manufacturers and EPC Contractor’s location), • Experience in installation engineering coordination and execution of complex multicultural / multidiscipline Project team, with more than 10-15 years in Rigid Flowline installation (S-Lay), Diving operations and Rigid Pipelines Pre-commissioning, • Effective communication and strong organizational skills, ability to resolve technical issues. Good knowledge of the relevant environmental policies and regulations is a plus, • Comprehensive experience in methods of subsea construction (conventional / shallow water), • Professional Level in English written and spoken. Valid BOSIET certificate (OPITO approved).
