Installation Supervisor

As an Installation Supervisor you will supervise capital project installation, testing and commissioning work performed by either Internal or Contract staff.

You will report to the CE&I Engineer and be located at Springfields Fuels Ltd site, near Preston, UK.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

You will promote the safe installation of capital project work on the Springfields Site through adherence to procedures and regulations including CDM and Human Performance tools and techniques.

You will coordination and supervise of a multi discipline installation team involved in the installation and testing of capital project installations.

You will provide a hands-on approach to capital project installation activities including assisting with installations, performing electrical isolations, energisations, inspections and testing.

You will follow and hold people accountable for compliance with company standards and policies.

You will prepare installation risk assessments and method statements.

You will help coordinate Work Safety Control programs and Isolation Log requirements.

You will raise orders for and to coordinate installation consumables.

You will work with the Project Managers and Project Engineers to contribute to the capital project installation planning and scheduling.

You will undertake Factory Acceptance witness testing at Suppliers facilities during the manufacturing phase of capital project equipment.

You will ensure all Electrical Installation work is performed following BS7671 and IEC60204.

You will ensure all Mechanical Installation work is performed following Springfields Site Engineering Standards

You will prepare and execute installation Inspection Reports and test plans including electrical test certificates.

 

Qualifications:

National Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent level of Electrical Experience

10 years in a Nuclear Project Installation environment

A thoughtful understanding of CDM Regulations - Essential

18th Edition Wiring Regulations - Essential

C&G 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing – Essential

NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) - Desired
