Summary: Seeking an Installation Technician for the installation and commissioning of various inspection systems, requiring extensive travel and technical expertise.
Requirements:
90% Travel required
Working knowledge of x-ray and/or CT technologies
Previous field electrical assembly experience
Experience with rigging and material handling
Basic understanding of OSHA standards and practices
Must be able to obtain a US Passport
Preferred Skills:
Network installation and configuration is a plus
PLC experience is a plus
Software integration with electric/mechanical equipment
Bilingual language skills (Spanish) a plus
Responsibilities:
Install and commission Mid-Energy Portals (MEP), Low Energy Portals (LEP), IP6500 Vehicle and Cargo Inspection Systems, Exploranium, Radiation Portal Monitor (RPM) systems.
Isolate equipment start-up malfunctions and take corrective actions.
Perform technical support on products at customer or factory locations.
Meet weekly project installation goals within required deadlines.
Support engineering activities during Factory Acceptance testing.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems quickly.
Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, system manuals, and technical directives for troubleshooting purposes.
Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
