Required:
Associate Degree, trade school and/or equivalent work 5 years of experience in electronics, engineering, or related field.3-5 years experience in TV systems, alarm system, or nurse call system.Attentive to detail and excellent follow-up with customers.Excellent customer service skills.Preferred:

DaysFull-TimeEssential Functions:
Full understanding of design, layout and install of MATV, SMATV, nurse call, alarm and television systems. Possesses understanding of Head End configuration and distribution of signal for Satellite TV services in a large facility. Knowledge of conversion from SD to HD TV signal.Must be familiar with, and be physically able to utilize common installation equipment such as ladders, crimp devices and basic power tools. Ability to work on a ladder in ceilings is a must.Understands that leadership and guidance to co-workers on the project or job site is paramount to our success and mission.Assists Tech Services Manager in training new or unexperienced technicians on the job site. Assumes the training responsibility when working on any job site, provides constructive, patient, professional instruction when required or needed during a project or repair.Must possess ability to run a project from beginning to end. Respond to request for job walkthrough, meet with contractors and customers.Can read and understand contractor blueprints/drawings of units/area of potential projects. Has ability to make suggestions to project which will increase efficiency and help reduce cost.Is able to have open discussions regarding projects and repairs, make suggestions and receive/provide constructive input in a professional manner.Prepared to assume overall project responsibility in the event of absence, illness or vacation of the tech service ManagerHas the ability to work with others installing the above mentioned technology and network systems; able to certify these systems.Must demonstrate technical competency to handle job related devices for evaluation and repairs on various types of equipment.Reviews all work performed daily for accuracy and effectiveness. Follows RWJBH policies and procedures to assure effective operations, safety, quality control, preventive maintenance, and repairs.Assures that all work performed is documented via service request system, accurately and on a timely basis.Provides detailed list of components and supplies required for job/project to Purchasing department when required with appropriate approvals.Maintains, installs and repairs nurse call systems, overhead page systems, TV systems, security systems, alarm systems and other electronic systems. Performs preventative maintenance as needed.Participates in emergency on-call program when requested.Other Duties:
