A leading manufacturer of specialty vehicles for the fire & emergency, and recreation has an immediate need for a Vinyl Flooring Installer. This position will install vinyl flooring in ambulances, ensuring high-quality results while adhering to safety and production standards **Job Title: Installer - Vinyl Floor** **Location: Winter Park, FL** **Pay: $17.00/hr** **What’s the Job?** + Install vinyl flooring and related components in ambulances, including cutting, fitting, and sealing. + Prepare surfaces for vinyl installation, ensuring proper cleaning, leveling, and priming as needed. + Measure and cut vinyl flooring accurately to fit complex vehicle layouts. + Installation of all non-electrical interior/exterior components and hardware. + Maintain and clean tools and equipment used in vinyl floor installation. + Work with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges. + Document installation processes and report any material or equipment issues. + Assist in inventory management, including tracking vinyl materials and adhesives. + Understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English. + Close attention-to-detail **What’s Needed?** + HS Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred + Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English. + Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and layout and other written or verbal instructions presented in English. + Ability to read and use linear and other measuring devices. + Ability to perform all operations within acceptable quality and time standards. + Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. + Fundamental use of various pneumatic and power tools. + Familiar with the safe operation of various tools: including but not limited to drills, screw gun. + Ability to use basic mathematics. **What’s in it for me?** + Opportunity to be part of a great customer experience. + Potential for permanent employment + Great atmosphere and opportunity to work on a dynamic team. **If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
