Heatcraft Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Magna Industrial and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

Location:  Stone Mountain, GA (Hybrid-Monday through Thursday in the office with the option to work at home on Friday)

 

As an Instructional Designer, you'll plan, organize, and develop training curricula, materials and programs to meet specific training needs.

Analyze learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content. Plan and coordinate skill assessments and training. Work with management to ensure course materials are current and relevant to training needs. May facilitate training during introduction of new courses. Track and analyze training programs by examining learner's satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance. Provide instruction and guidance to trainers. May include the design of computer-based training programs. Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following: 

 

Bachelor's degree is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires at least 5 years related experience.Requires knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies. In depth knowledge of Instruction Design processes and techniques including training analysis, design, development and evaluation. Highly skilled in the development of participant and instructor guides for instructor-led training. Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Strong PC skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio. HVAC industry background preferred.

 

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $78,000 - $102,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
