Instructional Designer
**Come join our amazing team and work remote from home!** **What you’ll do:** Responsible for designing and developing solutions for learning that enhance the knowledge, skills, and abilities of Carrington associates so they may excel in their performance. Design and develop training curriculum using appropriate instructional development methods, tools and formats. Gather clients’ needs and create engaging and effective learning. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all US state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates. The target pay range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 . + Partner with Business Units and SMEs to understand and analyze learning needs. + Facilitates discussions with Business Units and SMEs to aid decisions related to instructional design and learning outcomes. + Create training and performance improvement resources including; outlines, scripts, storyboards, course materials, activities, jobs aids, workbooks, manuals, presentations, videos, assessments, training plans, project management resources, etc. to support training outcomes. + Write instructional materials for multiple formats including instructor-led, video and self-paced training. + Develops effective training plans for course/program development and project plans with specific deliverables and defined deadlines. + Manage multiple projects simultaneously by prioritizing project deadlines in alignment with changing business needs. Deliver accurate, high-quality documentation and resources within a set timeline. + Analyzes, measures and evaluates training program effectiveness and success. + Prepares facilitator support materials (i.e. power point slides, leader/facilitator guides, and evaluation tools) and training sessions for delivery of learning. + Stays current with emerging trends and practices for the analysis, design, development, delivery and evaluation of learning content and activities **What you’ll need:** + Knowledgeable in applying industry standard practices for instructional design and human performance improvement. + Ability to conduct analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of training programs and resources. + Capable of building relationships with Business Unit Leaders, SMEs and Carrington team members and external partners in support of project outcomes. + Ability to plan, organize, develop and evaluate training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific defined training needs. + Ability to write effective, efficient, and motivational content to compel attendees to take desired actions and achieve performance goals. + Proficient in business writing, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, virtual classroom tools (GoToMeeting, WebEx, or Adobe Connect), Adobe Captivate/Articulate, online meeting technologies, LMS systems. + Experience working with a Learning Management System. + Ability to work with supervision, collaboratively, multitask and meet deliverable timeframes. + Ability to understand business needs and create solutions. + Excellent organizational and time management skills. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills. + Exceptional client service skills + Bachelor’s degree in Communications/English or similar field, or equivalent work experience + Advanced degree or certifications in Instructional Design, IO Psychology or similar field preferred + 1 to 2 + years’ experience working in writing in the areas of online learning and knowledge management, technical writing, training, performance measurement, multimedia, curriculum and course development **Our Company:** Carrington Mortgage Services is part of The Carrington Companies, which provide integrated, full-lifecycle mortgage loan servicing assistance to borrowers and investors, delivering exceptional customer care and programs that support borrowers and their homeownership experience.
