Instructional Designer
Overview The Instructional Designer will be a contributing member of a high-performing Learning and Development team creating interactive, engaging elearning and communication assets to support the employee learning experience for growth and development. Responsibilities Respond to customer requests Complete projects on time and on budget Meet and exceed customer expectations in the services and solutions we provide Manage relationships with customers Contribute to design and development of content based on research of relevant trends, case studies, and business intelligence Be an active member of the Learning and Development team Partner with Training Specialist/LMS Administrator to ensure all course activities are completed: Increase personal credibility by staying current in expertise and our business Execute project management protocols, procedures, and guidelines using methodologies from common Instructional Design models Develop training and media content for individual projects Define learning and/or performance objectives aligned with desired business goals Develop high quality hard and soft skill solutions including instructor-led training and level I (basic) eLearning Participate in needs analysis Execute learning transfer strategies Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and implement or submit recommendations for improvements Coordinate resources to complete project (SMEs, learning and development specialists, customers, etc.) Other duties and special assignments as assigned Qualifications 5 years’ experience: Developing e-learning courses Developing fully scripted classroom training materials including facilitator and participant guides Experience with SCORM compliant authoring tools such as Captivate, Storyline, etc. Designing and facilitating asynchronous activities in a blended learning solution Designing and developing performance support Analyzing needs, designing, and developing blended learning solutions that include self-directed learning and, virtual instructor-led learning using a common instructional design model such as ADDIE Bachelors Degree Preferred
