Instructional Designer
This role involves regular travel throughout the year to attend business meetings and events. This position offers a base hourly range of $25.34 - $46.08 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance. OVERVIEW Analyze, design, develop, deliver and evaluate training solutions that increase job performance and develop the skills of the workforce in order to execute the Sheetz mission. Implementation of innovative instructional design solutions in alignment with the instructional design strategy. RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) 1. Design and develop training solutions using Sheetz processes, standards, and templates to accomplish the desired performance objectives, in alignment with department and/or organizational objectives. 2. Conduct needs analysis, which includes, but is not limited to, analyzing learners, conducting task analysis, performing gap analysis and establishing measures to evaluate the effectiveness of the training solutions to measure learner’s knowledge, skills, behaviors, and improved job performance. 3. Provide support to other Instructional Designers as needed to ensure all training solutions and project plans are met. 4. Manage assigned projects to identify and resolve barriers and ensure program deliverables, milestones, and timelines are met. Will manage multiple assigned projects at once. 5. Apply knowledge of learning theories, instructional design models, learning modalities and emerging technologies to all training solutions to deliver creative and innovative learning experiences. 6. Collaborate and promote working relationships with Business Partners and Subject Matter Experts to integrate training solutions, establish learning objectives, review content for accuracy and meaning to ensure efficient and effective solutions. 7. Research and stay up to date with the latest advancements in technology, trends, and best practices in the learning and development industry. QUALIFICATIONS (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) Education • Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field required Experience • Minimum 2 years’ experience in analyzing, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training solutions required. • Minimum 2 years’ research experience in current trends of learning theories, methods, and models required. • Minimum 2 years’ project management experience preferred.
