Instructional Designer
Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instructional Designer. This role focuses on developing and designing training programs in direct response to the needs of our organization. The ideal candidate is a experienced detail oriented in education design, capable of managing multiple priorities and leveraging their knowledge of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) in training content development. This position is a behind-the-system role, with no facilitation responsibilities. While healthcare experience is not required, a strong background in instructional design and education development is essential. Key Responsibilities: Instructional Design: Design, develop, implement, and assess training content utilizing the ADDIE model. Create detail oriented, high-quality training that aligns with organizational strategies and priorities. Training Development: Develop training programs in various categories, such as: Workplace violence prevention training. Company-wide initiatives tied to the yearly strategy. UKG training (time and attendance systems). Compliance training across organizational functions. Leadership and soft skills development, with a stronger focus on technical training. Requirements Instructional Design Expertise: Proven experience in developing and designing comprehensive education programs. Proficiency in the ADDIE model and ability to apply it effectively in training development. Experience and Skills: experienced detail oriented in education design, capable of analyzing organizational needs and translating them into actionable training. Ability to create educational programs without facilitation (strictly a behind-the-system role). Healthcare experience is not required. Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize competing demands, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of training programs. Preferred Skills and Tools: Experience with eLearning tools like Articulate (current system) and familiarity with Scribe (upcoming system). Understanding of LMS systems (e.g., Absorb LMS, Cortex) for uploading and managing training content. Analytical mindset to monitor and assess the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
