**Team/Role Overview**
As an Instructional Designer on Citi’s Learning Implementation Services team, you will play a pivotal role in developing innovative, learner-centric solutions that drive employee performance and business impact. This is a seasoned professional role that requires both deep expertise in instructional design, familiarity with e-learning development technology, and the ability to think strategically to address complex learning needs.
You will contribute to Citi’s success by creating engaging, effective learning experiences for employees across diverse functions & products, aligning solutions with organizational goals. This includes designing content that addresses systems training, compliance, leadership development, and emerging skills, delivered through e-learning solutions that include AI-powered adaptive learning.
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, as well as the ability to collaborate across global teams. Success in this role involves working closely with subject matter experts while adhering to Citi Learning & Culture standards and specifications.
You will also serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the organization, providing guidance, coaching, and training to colleagues while staying informed of trends and innovations in the learning and development space. Your work will directly impact employee engagement, productivity, and career growth, contributing to Citi’s overall performance and mission.
**What you’ll do**
+ Drives the instructional design process through needs assessment, research of knowledge tasks, working with subject matter experts to validate content, and creating supporting design documents including blueprints, storyboards, and prototypes. Development includes: building e-learning solutions using state-of-the-industry authoring tools (dominKnow, Area9 Rhapsode) and related material, including rigorous, valid measurements of learning.

+ Elevate Experiences: Refresh and enhance evergreen content to keep it cutting-edge, engaging, and relevant.
+ Inspire and Mentor: Share your expertise with colleagues and help shape the future of learning development at Citi.
+ Appropriately assess risk when learning & development decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for all applicable governance, standards, and specifications, proactively raising credible challenge when necessary, and escalating control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of experience designing and developing innovative e-learning solutions, including a portfolio with e-learning work samples.
+ Mastery of learning design tools like dominKnow, Area9 Rhapsode or others, including document & media development tools like Adobe Creative Cloud apps, Microsoft 365 apps, and expertise with Learning Management Systems is a plus.
+ A strong foundation in adult learning theory and instructional design best practices.
+ Exceptional consulting, communication, and relationship-building skills.
+ Ability to balance competing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
+ Proficiency in written and spoken Spanish strongly preferred.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field

**Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:**
$70,720.00 - $106,080.00
