Instructional Training and Design Lead will assist in the design, development, coordination and delivery of blended-learning programs. They need to be highly motivated and self-directed to provide consulting, design and development of a variety of projects across multiple technical disciplines. They will create learning plans to support process, technology, and organizational changes as part of Patterson’s development, continuous improvement and change management initiatives. They must have excellent verbal and written communication skills including proven ability to build strong working relationships with all levels within the organization are essential, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment.

Manage designers to meet or exceed department goals
Performance management for direct reports, including yearly reviews
Continuous review of evaluation metrics for design projects
Help designers set and reach personal development goals
Ensures team is practicing core principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility
Analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating instructor-led, virtual-led, and/or eLearning based trainings in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts to support training needs across all employee groups
Apply adult learning theories to produce interactive and relevant content, outlines, scripts, and storyboards
Utilize the LMS (Learning Management System), MyTalent to manage project-related user enrollments, course deployment, tracking, and reporting
Conduct media analysis to determine the most effective and efficient learning solutions (e.g. WBT, Blended, ILT, Simulation, Job Aid, etc.)
Deliver training modules using platform skills and adult learning knowledge
Updating, managing, and maintaining existing content
Providing guidance and consultation on appropriate strategies, processes, tools, and training to support other developers within the company
Responsible for assessing and reporting training effectiveness
Job QualificationsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness or related field.
At least 2 years of Training and Development experience
At least 2 years of Instructional Design experience
Proficient in SCORM technical standards
Proficient in Training and Development industry standard methodologies
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Experience with authoring tools; Lectora, Articulate, Captivate
Knowledge of learning and adult education methodologies and tools
Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, and presentation
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SharePoint
Experience with SumTotal Learning Systems
Team management experience
Excellent interpersonal skills, proven team-team oriented approach and ability to establish rapport quickly
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with employees at all levels

This position is in an office environment in which team members occupy desks in assigned areas or at meeting/collaboration spaces within the building. The building’s primary work areas consist of desks, chairs, computers and other office equipment and devices for professional services.
