Role Overview: What You’ll Be Doing
Wheels Up is looking for an Instructor, Training & Standards who will be integral to the operational and training efficiency of our organization.
ResponsibilitiesYour Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
Delivery of initial and recurrent training. Maintaining training records for the Flight Control Department. Enacting disciplinary action by revoking operational control and providing remedial instruction when necessary.Stay current with industry standards and practices by exercising operational control responsibilities on a weekly basis Write training documents and new process bulletins, contributing to the continuous improvement and clarity of operational procedures. Demonstrate a proactive approach and dedication to excellence, maintaining high standards of performance and continuous improvement.This position reports to the Supervisor, Training and StandardsCreating lesson plans and executing initial and recurrent training for multiple technical flight operations departments QualificationsWhat You Bring to the Table: Education & Certification Requirements
We’re looking for someone who has a unique mix of experience, skills, and passion for what we do:
Aircraft Dispatcher CertificateCertified Instructor Certificate, AGI or CFI2-3 years of training experienceMinimum of bachelor’s degree in relevant areaPhysical Requirements

At Wheels Up, we believe in fair compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The salary for this role ranges from $68,000 - $85,000, depending on a variety of factors. We don’t typically start individuals at the top of the salary range; your place within the range is based on what you bring to the table. Additionally, you may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program, which rewards individual and organizational performance.
