Full-Time (1.0 FTE), 7-Hr, 10-Month School Calendar Year Position + Provide juniors and seniors with rigorous and engaging classroom instruction, project-based learning, and hands-on skills that would prepare students to be college and career ready in the Audio Media Industry + Monitor students’ academic progress including, but not limited to progress/marking period grades, attendance, hands-on performance skills + Implement 504 plans and IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) for students with diverse learning needs + Keep current with changes and developments in the Audio Media industry + Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, home school counselors and all others involved with the education of all students + Maintain discipline in the classroom + Uphold the BOCES Values: Service, Collaboration, Leadership, and Integrity + Instructing students on the fundamentals of audio production including sound recording, Pro Tools software editing, mixing, and manipulations + Using various audio technologies while tailoring instruction to the high school level + Be familiar with all phases of video and film production, which includes camera basics, scripting, recording, recording, Adobe Premiere editing, audio, lighting, directing, and graphics + Be proficient with Pro Tools software and Adobe Premiere editing software + Carry out all other duties as assigned Job Qualifications Valid NYS Certification in Media Communications Application Deadline:03/28/2025 Job Number: 082 CTE24/25
