Participants of this program will provide inpatient clinical care at the University of Colorado Hospital as hospital medicine faculty, attending on resident and advanced practice provider teaching services. In addition, scholars will earn a Master in Business Administration through the University of Colorado Denver Business School. Over the course of the program, PE scholars will have the opportunity to lead operational or administrative initiatives within the hospital to apply skills acquired during their training. By the end of the administrative scholars program, graduates will have gained knowledge and skills in these domains: physician as executive leader, strategy for healthcare, operations in the healthcare system, and economics of healthcare.
