Job Summary
The School of Social Work seeks a full-time, 12-month non-tenure track Instructor to coordinate all aspects of the graduate and undergraduate field education program. This position is responsible for student placements, field instructor training, agency relations, and teaching relevant coursework. The successful candidate will play a key role in the school's leadership team, ensuring high-quality field experiences for students and maintaining strong relationships with community partners.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
+ Coordinate all graduate and undergraduate field education activities: This encompasses all aspects of the field education program, including student placements, field instructor training, and program oversight.
+ Place approximately 100+ students annually: This involves matching students with suitable field placements based on their academic progress, career goals, and agency needs.
+ Maintain relationships with field supervisors: This includes ongoing communication, providing support, and addressing any concerns or challenges that arise during student placements.
+ Teach graduate and undergraduate field courses: This involves instructing students on field education methodologies, professional ethics, and other relevant topics.
+ Recruit and maintain high-quality field sites/agencies: This includes identifying and cultivating relationships with potential field placement sites and ensuring the quality and suitability of these placements.
+ Recruit and train new field instructors: This involves identifying and onboarding qualified professionals to serve as field instructors, providing them with necessary training and support.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must possess an MSW degree from a CSWE-accredited institution, a minimum of four years of post-MSW professional experience, an active LMSW license, and demonstrated experience providing supervision to social work students or professionals.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include LCSW licensure, prior experience in a school of social work's field education program, demonstrated experience teaching social work courses and supervising field students (including interns), and familiarity with the Tevera data management system for tracking student progress, monitoring field placements, and ensuring alignment with CSWE accreditation standards.
