Full-time Job Announcement Position: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) Mental Health Instructor (9-month position) Location: Athens Campus Department: Division of Life Sciences & Public Safety Reports to: Program Chair for the Associate of Science in Nursing Program and Divisional Academic Dean Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. State of Georgia benefits package. Deadline to Apply: January 30, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. Responsibilities: + Teach in simulation and laboratory settings. + Clinical and classroom instruction. + Curriculum implementation and evaluation. + Work with regulators to maintain full accreditation. + Complete ALL required employee trainings. + Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: + Master of Science in Nursing with experience in nursing education. + Current and valid Georgia Registered Professional Nursing License. + Current BLS certification for healthcare providers. Preferred Qualifications: + Two (2) years teaching experience and clinical practice in the field of mental health nursing. + Experience with simulation and technology.
