Position Summary:
The Department of Marketing in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University seeks a full-time Instructor of Marketing. This is a non-tenure-track, nine-month position with a start date of Fall 2025.
Responsibilities: The successful candidate will teach a variety of marketing classes at either the undergraduate and/or graduate level depending on the candidate’s qualifications. Instructors normally teach a 4-4 course load (four courses in the fall, four courses in the spring) including limited service and research duties as appropriate. More significant service commitments or research productivity may result in a negotiated reduced teaching load. In addition, instructors are expected to sustain sufficient scholarship or professional engagement activities needed to maintain AASCB faculty qualifications. Additional summer teaching may be available pending department needs and budget approval, but these assignments are not guaranteed.
The ideal candidate would have teaching experience and/or industry experience in sales/sales management, with interest in teaching courses in sales and contributing to the development and administration of a sales program. However, all areas of teaching experience and interest will be considered.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Master's degree or higher degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or closely related field from a university with AACSB or similar business accreditation, conferred by the effective date of employment.• Minimum of 4 semesters of previous experience teaching marketing courses in an accredited (AACSB or similar) undergraduate or graduate program.
• Demonstrated record of excellence in teaching (as demonstrated through evidence such as teaching evaluations, certifications, teaching awards, peer reviews, etc.).
• Certification or experience in online teaching preferred.
• Interest in and/or proven ability to take on student-focused service commitments, such as advising student organizations, curriculum and course development, academic program administration, or supervising undergraduate research or independent studies.
• Relevant industry experience in a professional marketing role is preferred.
