No If Temporary, enter End Date: Position Summary The SUNY Cortland Communication Disorders & Sciences (CDS) Department has an opening for a full-time faculty member and Audiologic Services Coordinator. General responsibilities include teaching courses related to hearing, hearing sciences, hearing-related interventions in our undergraduate Speech and Hearing Sciences program and in our graduate Speech-Language Pathology program, clinical training and supervision of graduate clinicians conducting hearing screenings and developing and cultivating an active research agenda. Other responsibilities include conducting hearing screenings and evaluations with members of the campus and surrounding communities, assisting in academic advising with undergraduate students, and service to the CDS Department, School of Professional Studies, and the University.

Instructor Rank: Doctor of Audiology (AuD) with evidence of teaching. Assistant Professor Rank: Doctor of Audiology (AuD) with evidence of research and scholarship, and teaching, or Ph.D. in speech-language pathology/communication disorders, audiology, or related field. A doctoral candidate with all but dissertation (ABD) status will be considered with work initiated on dissertation and designated completion date within 12 months of start date.
