**38012BR** **Extended Job Title:** Instructor or Higher Diagnostic Radiology (Radiology) **Org Level 1:** Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso **Position Description:** Contributes to the university’s mission through teaching and service, some variation by academic unit. **Requisition ID:** 38012BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Provides clinical services and teaching of diagnostic radiology + Interprets x-rays in all modalities of diagnostic radiology + Mentors and instructs residents, fellows, and medical students in research projects, as requested or assigned by department chair + Lectures and hold conferences and participates in related meetings and school functions + Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship + Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties + Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission + Adheres to institutional and departmental policies and procedures + Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L.
