Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs instrumentation and control devices, including measurement sensors, analyser’s, transmitters, signal transmission systems, control processors, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), final control elements, safety instrumented systems, process control networks, fire and gas systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS)/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and associated applications. Identifies and implements reliability, integrity, economic, carbon reduction, and safety improvements for above systems.
**Job Responsibilities Include:**
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Technician with a strong focus on safety and extensive knowledge of oil and gas machinery and operational processes. This role requires expertise in maintaining automated equipment and instrumentation systems in an offshore environment, ensuring incident-free operations, maximizing equipment reliability, and minimizing downtime to achieve departmental objectives.
**Key Responsibilities:**
· **Safety and Compliance** : Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and regulations, including Electrical Safe Work Practices, NEC, API 14C, 14F, EU Directive, NFPA, SIL, and Chevron Engineering Standards.
· **Technical Expertise** : Maintain and improve complex instrumentation systems, including Process Control and Instrumented Protective Systems, turbine-driven compression, and electrical generation equipment.
· **Continuous Improvement** : Drive process and equipment reliability improvements. Participate in HAZOP, HAZAN, and RCA teams.
· **Cross-Functional Collaboration** : Work with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Commercial departments on design engineering, volumetric accounting, data validation, quality control, and contractual/regulatory oversight.
· **Maintenance Work:** Utilize SAP CMMS to facilitate the creation, tracking, and management of work orders specific to I&C systems. This ensures that all maintenance tasks are documented and can be efficiently monitored from initiation to completion.
**Requirements:**
· Extensive experience in maintenance and reliability of instrumentation systems.
· Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
· Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complex projects.
· Proficiency in SAP and other relevant software needed to maintain or troubleshoot automated equipment
· 2 Years Industry Experience
· Mechanical or Electrical Diploma/certificate preferred
· The position located in Israel
