We are seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer for a contract-to-direct assignment in Manassas, Virginia. The selected candidate will work on projects designing state-of-the-art microelectronic and semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
Hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

** Candidates with exposure to Revit are highly preferred **
Responsibilities- Develop Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID's) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology
- Panel design including panel layout and I/O wiring diagrams
- Specify control and/or monitoring devices and control valves including valve sizing calculations
- Work closely with client to developed new, and edit existing, site sequence of operation documents (SOO's) for a wide range of semiconductor equipment
- Review construction submittals and help answer RFI’s
- Manage demanding project schedules and prepare accurate reports
- Perform field walks
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- 10+ years of I&C Design experience
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Experience developing Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology
- Experience with analog, digital and relay field wiring and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of PLC's and SCADA systems
- Experience specifying instruments and creating ISA datasheets
- Experience reading and writing industrial SOO’s
- Exposure to Revit is highly preferred
