Inframark is currently seeking an Instrument and Electrical Technician for our Plaquimines Parrish team based in Belle Chasse, LA team.  We are looking for candidates that have 1+ years of experience with troubleshooting pumps, motors, hydraulics, compressed air, high-speed rotational equipment, electronics (VFD’s, PLC’s, Soft starts, etc.), and conveying equipment.  

Responsibilities:

Work as a member of a team responsibile for the  maintenance and repair of water and wastewater treatment systemsDiagnoses malfunctions and determines effective courses of action for correcting themPerform maintenance of a wide variety of specialized mechanical and electrical equipment including buildings, structures and groundsInspects buildings and equipment for needed maintenance and repairDetermines effective response for emergency situationsMaintain records of all maintenance work done on equipment and prepares routine and special reportsDevelops, implements, and enforces safety regulations and proceduresPerforms skilled mechanical repair work on engines, pumps, motors, and other equipmentReads, interprets, and works from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications, and mechanical illustrationsEnsures the proper use and care of tools, materials, and safety equipment involved in maintenance and work repairAttends safety classes, reinforces and complies with company safety policies

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or GEDPrefer the completed the equivalent of one year of college or specialized vocational training in industrial maintenance, electrician, mechanic, or a closely related field.Requires one or more years of related experience with experience managing a team of maintenance technicians.Must have a valid LA driver’s license.
