Instrument Fitter **Job Description:** Join our team as an Instrument Fitter! In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing tubing on large compressor, low-pressure blower, and dryer units. You’ll primarily work with 1/4", 1/2", and 3/8" stainless steel tubing, with occasional bends of 1" tubing. Your expertise will be crucial in determining the best tubing routes according to P&ID’s and GA drawings, especially for the drain lines on the units. Additionally, you’ll assist in installing the instrument rack/control panel to the compressor units. **Key Responsibilities:** + Bend and install stainless steel tubing (1/4", 1/2", 3/8", and occasionally 1") + Determine optimal tubing routes based on P&ID’s and GA drawings + Install instrument racks/control panels to compressor units **Hard Skills:** + Proficient in tubing bending + Knowledge of P&ID’s (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) + Understanding of GA (General Arrangement) drawings + Ability to determine tube routes without blueprint instructions **Soft Skills:** + Attention to detail + Strong problem-solving abilities + Effective teamwork **Job Type:** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with an initial duration of 6 months. **Work Environment:** + Open-aired, clean shop + Day shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Friday + Some Saturdays: 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
