Job Title: Instrument Mfg Tech 1 Hours: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm Payrate: $18:00 Purpose of Job: Assemble and test Point of Care medical Instruments. Process instruments according to all applicable procedures and quality requirements. Major Duties and Responsibilities - including but not limited to: Follow detailed operating procedures to assemble and test point of care medical instruments. Maintain productivity and quality requirements. Operate safely within a biohazardous environment. Requirements: • Able to perform electromechanical assembly • Able to read and understand assembly drawings • Able to read and follow operating procedures • Able to learn to process and complete required sections of Batch Records. • Basic PC skills • Able to train to operate automated test fixtures and perform test processes. • Perform all duties as assigned. • Follow cGMP, GDP, and safety requirements • Participate in and follow continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Tier boards, Kaizen, Gemba) Physical requirements: Required to work onsite full-time, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, can work around moving machinery, and be around equipment that produces moderate noise. Repetitive arm/hand motions to put in screws, perform torque, route cables, manual pipetting, etc. Sitting/standing for long periods of time. Lifting parts/instrument assembly up to 12 lbs. Must be able to write sets of data/information, initials and dates, and other required information per build and test procedures and GDP repetitively. Repetitive reaching over and bending. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High School/GED preferred. In absence of high school/GED, candidate should have 3 years (relevant Mfg exp) or 5 years overall experience.
