Job Title: Instrument Operator Job Description Candidates will be working as an Instrument Field Operator to support one of the largest distribution projects in Virginia. This project involves moving the distribution power lines from overhead to underground throughout the state, primarily focusing on the Manassas market. Responsibilities + Work as part of a 2-man crew, traveling to various sites daily. + Utilize Trimble equipment and DTS5 Data collecting equipment. + Support the largest utility in Virginia in the distribution project. + Conduct site visits directly from home without needing to report to an office. + Start the first project around 7 am each day. Essential Skills + Experience in surveying and field technician roles. + Proficiency in using Trimble equipment and DTS5 Data collecting equipment. + Knowledge of GPS and AutoCAD. + Understanding of utility and construction processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with surveying and construction projects. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Work Environment Candidates will be working throughout the Manassas, VA service territory. They will travel directly to job sites daily as part of a 2-man crew, with the work typically starting around 7 am. The project is set to last for six more years, providing long-term stability and continuous work opportunities. -Weekly & OT pay, PTO & paid holidays, full benefits package, etc.!
