**Description:** We are seeking an Engineering Maintenance and technical support Technician to work in several teams where you will demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and learning abilities with a nominal amount of cross training. More experienced applicants will manage most project responsibilities rather than working on parts of a job and possess the ability to mentor other technicians. I&E technicians can expect to work in various areas of the Emissions Lab and the Milford Proving Grounds. This typically involves troubleshooting test cell systems and equipment, calibrating instrumentation, and performing preventative maintenance. The group seeks to minimize downtime to maximize efficiency while driving continuous improvement. What You'll Do Instrumentation & Equipment Technicians will work in one or more of the following areas: Troubleshooting and repair of all items making up the test cell facility, including drive systems, fuel systems, dynamometers, pumps, heaters, heat exchangers, collecting motor vibration data, filter replacement, installing and calibrating cell transducers, harness and wiring troubleshooting, etc. Fabricating and wiring specialty equipment with or without drawings, such as fluid conditioning systems, specialty brackets, special carts, etc., using existing and purchased parts where necessary. Installation, calibration, set-up, and troubleshooting of exhaust gas emission measurement equipment Equipment preventive and predictive maintenance work **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** HS Diploma plus relevant experience; associates degree would be a nice to have 3+ years of electrical and/or mechanical hands-on experience and capability Welding and fabrication without clear direction is a nice to have Must be comfortable working on 480VAC and 1000VDC systems, potentially while energized and understand associated risk reduction techniques Be able to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings Must have broad troubleshooting skills **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
