Mechanical Specialist/Certified Welding Inspector - Power plant project work
Fill out MBIC packagesCWI certCapable of doing dye penetrant testing (DPI); liquid penetrant (looking for weld deficiencies) Power Generation experience preferredASME experience is very helpful (gold standard for welding applications)ASME section 1 = set of guideline and regulation for the design, construction, installation, operation, and maintenance of power boilersASME B31.1 = code written for power piping systems, covering fuel gas and oil system in the plant, central and district heating systems, in addition to the water and steam systems in power plants.ASME B31.3 = code that provides the contractor with design, materials, fabrication, and inspection requirement and criteria for process pipingAdditional Information:
Per diem = $100/day; days workedHours: 6/10sDuration: Project through December with potential opportunity to extendHours: 630am-530pmWork Site
This is a fully on-site position in Kansas City, Missouri.
