In the role of Instrumentation Control Systems Engineer, we'll count on you to:

Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and proceduresCoordinate workload through design development and construction document phases to complete documents on scheduleConduct systems integration of the SCADA systems, including programming of PLCs/PCs and HMI customizing for various control software programsReview electrical documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesWrite and edit instrumentation and controls systems specifications, and select equipment and monitoring/control devicesDevelop biddable and technically accurate SCADA / IC construction documents including PIDs, network architecture diagrams, control panel layouts and wiring diagrams, installation details, loop drawings, and technical specifications.Coordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change orders, and take responsibility to incorporate agreed-upon changes into the project documentsMake decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as neededFunction as a Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this positionSupervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as neededProvide construction contract administration as neededPerform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fieldA minimum of 3 years experience designing I and C Systems, including schematics and loopsAutomation programming experiencePrevious work experience with an AE/Consulting Engineering firm

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license PLC/WTP and WWTP software programming experience Hands-on experience designing SCADA systems, including schematics and loops Experience managing control systems projects Knowledge of automation hardware including but not limitied to Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Foxboro, Modicon, Siemens, and GE. Knowledge of automation software including but not limited to Wonderware, iFix, FacotryTalk, VTScada, Ignition Proficiency with Microsoft Office products An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) Colorado: $83,853.00 - $119,790.00
