Instrumentation & Electrical PCS Technician

We are in search of enthusiastic individuals who excel at repairing, installing, calibrating, and maintaining a diverse array of electronic and pneumatic instruments and facility systems. As a PCS Technician, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated PCS Team Coach, tackling thrilling challenges and playing a crucial role in the seamless operation of our state-of-the-art facility. GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY Under the direction of the PCS Team Coach, the PCS Technician will perform Repairs, installations, calibrations, and preventative/predictive maintenance on a wide variety of electronic and pneumatic instruments, and facility systems. Examine & troubleshoot equipment to diagnose source of problems, offer solutions, perform repairs, replace broken or defective parts, and make necessary adjustments for operation. Participate in safety meetings, reviews, investigations, and HAZOPS on an as needed or required basis. Work overtime, shift work, and provide off shift coverage on an as needed basis. Foremost, he/she must ensure that the facility and equipment is maintained in proper and safe operating condition in order to fulfill Production requirements. This is done by following all work instructions, equipment procedures, quality standards, general maintenance standards and safety rules and regulations. PCS Technicians will safely maintain the equipment, machinery and infrastructure required to satisfy customer requirements. SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES + Perform instrument calibrations on quality, safety and PSM systems. + Troubleshoot processes or equipment issues and make the necessary repairs. + Perform check-out and turnover of electrical installation on for capital projects. + Actively participate in company programs designed to improve general working conditions such as 5S, Lean manufacturing, Safety Programs. WORK EVIRONMENT Industrial Chemical Manufacturing. Acid protective clothing, eye protection, hearing protection, hazardous dust mask, and full-face air purification mask will be required as needed. Extended work hours Up to 50% POSITION TYPE/ EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. 24-hour coverage will be mandatory for a 7-day period on a rotational basis. Overtime will be required as needed. QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 5 years or equivalent experience in an industrial maintenance environment. Strong computer proficiency. PREFERRED – Technical School graduate degree / certification.
