Summary

The Instrumentation & Electrical Technician will play a vital role in supporting our Project Team, working primarily onshore with occasional travel to project site locations. This position is responsible for the testing, calibration, operation, and repair of a variety of electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, electrohydraulic, and electronic measuring and recording instruments, apparatus, and equipment. The Technician will adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and utilize Test Report forms. A key responsibility will be identifying and reporting any abnormal conditions, working under supervision to resolve issues. Furthermore, the Technician will collaborate with the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team to troubleshoot non-complex Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) issues, contributing to improved reliability and performance.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties Calibrate, disassemble and reassemble instruments and equipment, using hand tools, and inspects instruments and equipment for defects. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment. Backup/Download PLC & PV Program and communicate with O&M to improve RC Operations and fix any IE issues per Supervisor’s direction from time to time. Maintain usage and calibration of special tools for particular IE works. Set up test equipment and conducts tests on performance and reliability of mechanical, structural, or electromechanical equipment. Identify abnormal operating conditions/fault and report/consult Supervisor for corrective action then get the issues fixed per Supervisor’s direction. Identify the abnormal behavior of PLV/PV program/system configuration then report Supervisor for further troubleshooting steps. Install, test and inspect equipment or material. Perform loop test, SCADA Test and P&ID Line check under supervision. Backup/Download PLC & PV Program for loop test activity. Record & submit daily report to supervisor Record & submit Calibration report, IE Loop Test reports, SCADA Mapping report to Supervisor (for supervisor’s review and comments) Submit IE inventory report (under supervision). Record the abnormal behavior of PLV/PV program/system configuration then report Supervisor for further troubleshooting steps. Report IIR (Incident). Report BBS (Behavior Based) Qualifications Age between 20 – 30 years High Vocational or Bachelor’s degree of Electrical Engineering 0 – 5 year of working experience in I&E fields Able to work Onshore at Songkhla facilities or Project's site location Good skill in the use of hand and power tools Healthy and strong physical demands.
