Instrumentation Electrician
**Job Title: Instrumentation Electrician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Electrician to join our team on the 1st shift (Mon-Fri) in Dover, OH. The role involves performing installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation (E&I) systems. The successful candidate will also troubleshoot process control systems and ensure compliance with safety standards. **Responsibilities** + Perform installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems, including sensors, transmitters, and control equipment. + Troubleshoot and repair process control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). + Inspect, test, and maintain electrical circuits, wiring, motors, and power distribution systems. + Monitor and calibrate process instrumentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control loop drawings to diagnose and resolve issues. + Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on critical E&I equipment to reduce downtime and improve system reliability. + Install and configure new instrumentation and automation systems to support plant upgrades or projects. + Ensure compliance with safety standards when working with electrical equipment and hazardous processes. + Collaborate with maintenance mechanics and electricians and assist with projects and training as needed. **Essential Skills** + Strong knowledge of process instrumentation, control systems, and electrical systems in industrial environments. + Proficiency in troubleshooting and programming PLCs, SCADA systems, and VFDs. + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs. + Experience with calibration tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and loop calibrators. + Understanding of industrial safety standards and regulations for hazardous environments. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing complex E&I issues. + Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams. + Excellent time management, documentation, and communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with automation systems including robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs. + Skills in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and configuration. + Knowledge of pneumatics, wiring, electrical engineering, and diagnostics. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, prescription, and dental coverage with $0 monthly premium deduction and a $1000 company-paid contribution annually to your personal Health Savings Account (HSA).
