Elevate Your Career in Instrumentation Engineer with Airswift

We are seeking an experienced Senior Designer or Junior Instrumentation Engineer to join our clients' team on a 12 month initial contract basis in Paris, France.

As an Instrumentation Database Specialist Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and management of databases for an FPSO project in the EPC phase.

Role Overview

Develop specifications for instrumentation databases and standards for data entry and wiring. Administer the database and enter information accurately. Generate instrument loop diagrams from the database. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces with other departments. Update database and reissue loop diagrams for projects in operation. Participate in the development and improvement of database standards. Ensure compliance with project requirements, international norms and standards, and internal department rules. Utilize software such as SmartPlant Instrumentation, Infomaker, SmartSketch, and Autocad. Possess a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and this position.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficient in Instrumentation Design & Documentation and Instrument Data. Experience with LOOP DIAGRAMS is required. Knowledge of SmartPlant Instrumentation, Infomaker, SmartSketch, and Autocad is necessary. Familiarity with Aveva Instrumentation is a plus. Fluency in English is required for this project.

Education & Experience

Certifications in relevant software or ITIL are advantageous. Ideally 5-10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry in a similar role. Applicants should hold eligibility to work in France / Europe
