**Description:** We are seeking a Technical Instrument Technician to work in several teams where you will demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and learning abilities with a nominal amount of cross training. Instrumentation Technicians can expect to work in various areas of the Emissions Lab and the Proving Grounds. This typically involves troubleshooting test cell systems and equipment, calibrating instrumentation, and performing preventative maintenance. The group seeks to minimize downtime to maximize efficiency while driving continuous improvement. **What You'll Do** Instrumentation & Equipment Technicians will work in one or more of the following areas: Troubleshooting and repair of all items making up the test cell facility, including drive systems, fuel systems, dynamometers, pumps, heaters, heat exchangers, collecting motor vibration data, filter replacement, installing and calibrating cell transducers, harness and wiring troubleshooting, etc. Fabricating and wiring specialty equipment with or without drawings, such as fluid conditioning systems, specialty brackets, special carts, etc., using existing and purchased parts where necessary.
