We have an exciting opportunity for Five (5) Instrumentation Technicians with effective monitoring of instrumentation and electrical equipment using DCS and SCADA systems experience in Underground Mining Projects. This role is based in Gauteng, South Africa. Seize this chance and apply today!
Key Responsibilities: Ensuring optimal operation of Instrumentation and Electrical equipment. Led the installation of advanced instrumentation systems, resulting in improved process control and reduced downtime through effective project management. Spearheaded the overhead crane commissioning project, enhancing safety protocols and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Auditing of site construction material. Stroke test of pneumatic, hydraulic, and motor-operated valves. Loop checks and I/O checks and troubleshooting during Plant construction. Configuration of field instruments. Supervising Contractors during Plant Expansion Projects, interpreting circuit diagrams, and reporting to the Engineer. Implementing and providing planned preventive and proactive maintenance. Basic PLC programming. Wet and dry commissioning, quality control (QA/QC), and associated documentation.
Experience and Qualifications: Accredited Trade Test, N6 Diploma. Extensive mining study & execution project experience. Underground Mining EPCM project experience required.
