Our client, a leading manufacturer in the instrumentation industry, is seeking an Instruments Assembler to join their team. As an Instruments Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting various product lines. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Instruments Assembler
**Location:** Sparks Glencoe, MD
**Pay Range:** $20.00 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform a wide variety of assigned tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical assemblies.
+ Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications.
+ Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues associated with instrument assembly operations.
+ Provide training to associates as needed, including a broad variety of mechanical and basic testing activities.
+ Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment through execution of all housekeeping responsibilities.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school degree or GED required with 4 years of manufacturing experience or an AA technical degree with 1 year of experience.
+ Proven leadership skills and the ability to mentor, coach, and develop other associates.
+ Strong knowledge of mechanical tools and proficiency in reading drawings and interpreting dimensions.
+ Ability to manage time effectively across multiple production orders and processes.
+ Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing philosophies.
