Job Summary:
Learning the meaning of the principles of insurance. Individual contributor representing the most common entry point for a career path in account management; works under direct supervision. Perform tasks related to account management, like creating reports, scheduling client meetings, performing research and updating client documentation and records. They typically receive daily direction from account executives or account managers. Required to obtain the necessary insurance license(s).
Responsibilities:
Organize and prioritize workflow. Process new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements in an accurate and timely manner, as instructed by the AM/AE.
Ensure accuracy of new or existing data in the Agency Management System. Notify AM/AE of any errors, premium or coverage deviations to avoid potential E&O’s.
Process notices of cancellation or reinstatement in accordance with carriers and company guidelines.
Document late payment notices, follow-up for payment as necessary, and send no coverage letters upon final notice of cancelled coverage.
Provide timely and accurate proof of insurance to clients, banks, auto dealers, and/or mortgagees via ID card, policy declaration page, or evidence of insurance.
Renewal process, preparation of proposals and account summaries, data entry of client activity in the agency system.
Exercise judgment and discretion in important matters.
Receive and responds to all calls, faxes, emails and mail in a timely manner.

Requirements:
Must have excellent computer skills and the ability to learn agency automation system and other automation/internet programs as required.
Proficient in the use of Windows based operating system and Microsoft Office products (2010 or above), including Word, Excel and Outlook.
Strong typing skills.
Effective communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to respond to requests effectively and efficiently.
Can accurately copy data from one source to another.
Must have ability to read, understand, and interpret policy change requests and communicate the request clearly to the company.
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and informative manner while maintaining a pleasant, professional tone.
Education/Experience:
4-40 insurance license required within 180 days of hire
Previous customer relations experience preferred
