POSITION DETAILS

As an Insurance Advisor in the you will work closely with a team of Producers and Marketers on our Commercial Accounts.

We are seeking an individual with a superior attention to detail to join our Burnaby Head Office location in a full time position.

Responsibilities

Delivers exceptional customer experience to internal and external customersDemonstrates good technical insurance knowledge of coveragesFollows Hub Service GuidelinesDemonstrates commitment to team work by supporting Account Executive/Account Manager and Marketer with all aspects of servicing commercial accountsActs as primary Customer Service Contact in the absence of Account Executive/Account ManagerResponds to customer requests directly (or indirectly from Account Executive/Account Manager), submits information to appropriate insurance companies and binds coverage where appropriateAttends Critical Path meetings; follows up on action items required by Account Executive/Account Manager, Marketer or ServicerPrepares proposals, rate sheets, customer correspondence, certificates, and invoices as per agency standardsPrepares cover notes on accounts marketed by production teamProcesses all documentation according to Hub workflowsCertificates of InsuranceCover notesSummaries and ProposalsNew Business, Renewals and EndorsementsPremium Finance contractsInvoicingAttaches all documentation into EPICclient instruction and bind ordersinstruction to marketing team and related informationAssists Account Executive/Account Manager with managing Account ReceivablesReviews and manages Account Reconciliation with Accounting TeamReviews and prioritizes all assigned tasks on a daily basis including company mail, emails, abeyances/activitiesMaintains accuracy of electronic files that may be housed in EPIC, Policy Works, Certificate Exchange. CSR24 and physical files as per agency standardsReviews and ensures accuracy of policy documentation from insurersContinues professional development in order to develop skills and knowledgeProtects HUB from E&OOther duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Level 2 General Insurance License2-3 years of experience in the Commercial DivisionExcellent customer service skillsEPIC, Policy Works, CSR24 and Certificate Exchange experience an assetStrong attention to detail and accuracyThrives in a fast paced environmentIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookTyping speed of at least 55 wpmIndustry designation an asset (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma – BCIT)Accounting experience is an assetrenewal informationActs as a liaison between client, Account Managers, Account Executives and MarketersUpdate client information as changes occurAnswer account related questions/requests from clients, lawyers, and banksProvide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry

The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 to $75,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
