We are seeking a talented individual for the role of an Insurance Broker (Employee Health & Benefits Policies) to join our team at Marsh FIJI. This role will be based in our Suva – Renwick Rd office.
This role will be for a motivated candidate to interact with a variety of businesses. The candidate is required to be an organised self-starter to proactively manage the interactions with our clients as part of a team and grow new relationships. It is important to show an in-depth understanding of our clients and their insurance needs through research into their key risks, emerging industry issues and continued professional development.
This role requires a high degree of communication competence, initiative, discretion, and confidentiality.
We will count on you to:
Develop and maintain effective client relationships by understanding their needs and proactively responding to them.Implement renewal and broking strategies tailored to client requirements.Process billing requests and gather information for quotes efficiently.Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurers and assist in negotiations.Manage outstanding renewals, credit control, and necessary reporting for your client portfolio.Identify new business opportunities and act on them in a timely manner.Introduce new products or broader policies as appropriate.Adhere strictly to the Company's policies, quality practices, and other systems and procedures.Comply fully with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance policy.What you need to have:
2+ years of insurance industry experience.Broad knowledge of customer service standards.Extensive knowledge of insurance products and services.Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.What makes you stand out:
