We are seeking a talented individual to join our Captive Solutions team at Marsh. This role will be based in the Isle of Man. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The role: Insurance & Claims Assistant

This position would suit a person with 2 to 3 years’ insurance experience (ideally in a captive insurance environment), who works independently under moderate supervision. Reporting to the Head of Insurance and providing a high level of service to assist the Insurance Manager

We will rely on you to:

Reviewing of claims and claims bordereaux.Drafting insurance and reinsurance contracts, policy endorsements, extensions and cancellations on contracts.Preparation of Board packs.Responding to client queries.Assisting the Insurance Manager throughout renewal processes.Liaising with brokers, service providers and auditors.Strengthens and maintains relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth and retention.

What you need to have:

Previous experience within an Insurance role, Ideally Captive Insurance however experience within Account Management or Claims could also be considered.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneouslyFully Competent in Microsoft Office ProductsStrong literacy, numeracy, administration and organisational skillsGood written and oral communication skills
