Reports to:Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Operating Officer of OPWDD Operations
Rate of pay:$25.03 - $29.44 per hour; Non-Exempt
Work schedule:Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional flexibility based on the needs of the organization. No weekends, no evenings, no major holidays.
A. POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing and coordinating activities related to insurance incentive programs, quality measure submissions, patient outreach for annual exams and quality metrics, and overseeing the administration of the agency’s 340B drug program.
B. EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage Insurance Incentive Program:
+ Submit quality measures in a timely manner consistent with departmental guidelines.
+ Meet with payers regularly to stay up-to-date on the highest priority items.
+ Monitor and disseminate suspected medical conditions for follow-up by clinical teams.
+ Coordinate patient outreach efforts to schedule annual exams and address gaps in care, ensuring compliance with value-based care metrics.
+ Collaborate with payers to resolve issues related to incentive program submissions and quality measure reporting.
+ Generate reports on incentive program performance for internal review.
2. Perform patient outreach and scheduling:
+ Identify patients who are non-compliant with quality metrics and contact them to schedule necessary appointments.
+ Record accurate documentation and tracking of patient outreach efforts and follow-up actions.
3. Oversee the administration of 340B drug pricing program:
+ Ensure compliance with federal and program-specific requirements of the program.
+ Chair the 340B Committee and lead committee discussions on program improvements, compliance, and performance tracking.
+ Maintain up-to-date provider lists with the program’s third-party administrator.
+ Manage 340B ESP data submissions.
+ Collect and store documentation for 340B referral capture.
+ Work with contracted pharmacies and partners to resolve any issues.
+ Track and report 340B program revenue and provide detailed updates to executive leadership.
+ Monitor program performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
4. Reporting and data management:
+ Prepare and submit required data reports to ensure compliance with payer requirements and 340B program regulations.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of program activities, including patient outreach, quality measure submissions, and drug program metrics.
+ Provide regular status reports to the executive team on incentive program performance and/or issues.
Requirements
C. POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, or a related field.
+ Minimum of two years’ experience in a federally qualified health center or similar healthcare setting.
+ Experience with insurance incentive programs, quality reporting or 340B program management.
+ Strong understanding of healthcare quality metrics, value-based care and payer incentives and familiarity with 340B drug pricing program requirements and compliance.
+ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to maintain good working relationships with others.
+ Proficiency with healthcare data systems, electronic medical records (EMR) and reporting tools.
D. PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
+ Sedentary work; ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
+ Excellent hand eye coordination.
+ Ability to sit for long periods of time.
+ Ability to tolerate extensive exposure to computer monitor/screen.
+ Ability to tolerate extensive use of computer keyboard.
