Insurance Manager
Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking an Insurance Manager for our Legal team.

This position reports to the Director of Legal. This role is a hybrid and is based in the Somerville, MA office.
Responsibilities:
Oversee Triumvirate Environmental’s insurance program, both domestically and internationally, by establishing coverage types and limits and negotiating policy terms Manage insurance renewals, which requires extensive coordination and interaction with various internal departments and branches as well as insurance brokers and carriers Establish insurance requirements for various entities conducting business with Triumvirate Environmental (contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, etc.), and create a system to ensure such entities maintain compliance with Triumvirate Environmental’s requirements Handle all aspects of insurance with respect to any mergers or acquisitions, from due diligence to integration, including evaluating coverage currently in place with the target, the loss and claims history of the target, and any uninsured or underinsured risks of the target Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized records of all insurance documents, such as policies, certificates, renewal information, quotes, invoices, claims, etc. Review and provide detailed feedback and advice on Triumvirate Environmental’s ability to adhere to insurance requirements, such as those of a potential client, landlord, or regulation Provide training to members of the Legal Department, as well as relevant internal departments, on insurance-related matters Manage all certificate of insurance requests from internal and external stakeholders Handle the administrative aspects relating to Triumvirate Environmental’s insurance program: invoices, document management, and tracking of expirations Administer Triumvirate Environmental’s surety bond program Provide detailed reporting on insurance-related financial performance and risk exposures Oversee the processing of select claims to ensure timely resolutionBasic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or related field 7+ years of experience working in a risk department, as a commercial insurer, or insurance broker Strong understanding of commercial general liability, automobile liability, worker’s compensation, property and casualty, cyber liability, and D&O/EPL insurance policies and coverage Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex insurance policies, with an understanding of the financial implications of insurance decisions Excellent organizational skills, with a sharp attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship Must have a reliable form of transportationPreferred Requirements:
Fluency in French is preferred In-House property and casualty experience Past experience managing Merger and Acquisition insurance transitions
