A Day in the Life

Location: This role is flexible in location, with the potential for the right candidate to be situated in our main office in Fort Lauderdale or in any of our various locations throughout South Florida. This would include the following locations:  Miami/Doral, Palm Beach Gardens, Vero Beach, Maitland and/or Tampa and Clearwater. This is a hybrid position, accommodating both in-office and remote work arrangements. This position is set in a high-volume, dynamic environment that requires a balance of accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

We are currently seeking an Insurance Operations Specialist to become an integral part of our Operations Excellence Team. This role involves comprehensive support across different departments, including health and benefits, business insurance, and, notably, personal lines. The primary focus will be on Personal Lines/Private Client Servicespersonal lines insurance, yet the candidate will engage with multiple lines of business, contributing to operational efficiency and process improvement throughout the organization.

As our Operations Specialist on the Personal Lines Insurance team, you'llyou will take part in:

Developing, documenting, and training process improvementsLicense and Appointment Management: Assist with managing carrier appointments for licensed individuals.Assisting with producer-split agreements and cross-selling initiativesData Management and Reporting: Obtaining, processing, and interpreting data from multiple agency management systems to produce coherent reports that drive business decisionsdecisions.Assist with managing vendor payable invoices.Continuous Process Improvement: The ability to identify, discuss, and implement process improvements, with a strong emphasis on efficiency and effectiveness.Perform global changes upon request, adjusting operations and procedures in response to business needs.Compliance Process Development: Assisting with or leading the development of compliance processes, ensuring they are comprehensive, enforceable, and in line with current industry standards and best practices.Assist with or manage updates and changes to carrier logins, licensing, contracts, etc.Assist with management system updates and changes.

High school diploma or equivalentAt least one year of insurance agency experienceProficiency with MS Office, including Excel (strong proficiency with Pivot Tables)Strong analytical skills, including critical thinking, data analysis, and researchBig picture thinker, sees the whole value chain of the customer experienceStrong verbal and written communication and presentation skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionallySelf-motivated individual who is very detailed oriented, thorough, and organized

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

Bachelor’s degree or higherActive and Current 2-20 insurance licenseExperience with EPIC, Sagitta, and Image RightPowerBI experience
