Insurance Risk Management Specialist
What You'll Do We’re looking for an Insurance Risk Management Specialist to join our Risk Management team. In this role, you’ll support decisions related to the risk and insurance management strategy and selected aspects of Enterprise property and casualty insurance programs! Collaborate with risk management team members to review and understand current and emerging risks, business processes and recommend appropriate risk solutions. Administer renewals of assigned coverage lines within the Company’s property/casualty insurance program. Assist in the resolution of claims on behalf of the Company, working closely with other business partners to ensure appropriate facts and documentation are provided. Communicate risk hazard situations discovered in the claim management process to the appropriate business partner to mitigate further loss experience. Provide insurance subject matter expertise, support, and advice to Sourcing, Enterprise Worksite Solutions, and other departments on Certificates of insurance and contract language regarding insurance coverage. Communicate Insurance risk insights to broad audiences ensuring accurate and actionable information is delivered for aligned areas of responsibility and specific operating environments. Who You Are Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience. 4+ years of work experience in and knowledge of commercial lines insurance programs and insurers, particularly within the Financial Institutions market segment, is preferred. Commitment to ongoing property and liability insurance and risk management education through work toward professional designations such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) is preferred. Analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to use good judgment. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively required. Knowledge of internal business operations and/or corporate functions preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft products (including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Power Point) and RMIS systems is preferred. Job Level We’ll consider talent at the next level with the right experiences and skills. To be considered at the Sr. Specialist level 6+ years of work experience in and knowledge of commercial lines insurance programs and insurers, particularly within the Financial Institutions market segment, is preferred. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $77350 - $182400 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible Yes Additional Information Work Environments This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
